Iker and Michel Rojkind have been appointed as the 2024 Morgenstern Visiting Chairs at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). As part of their appointment, Michel and Iker are teaching an advanced studio during the Spring 2024 semester titled “Beyond Sustainability: A New Era of Reciprocity.”

Established by a gift from the Victor A. Morgenstern Family Foundation, the Morgenstern Visiting Chair in Architecture is an architectural practitioner of the highest caliber, who has a substantial body of work that is widely and recently recognized in the field.

Previous Morgenstern Visiting Chairs include Rozana Montiel, Gustavo Utrabo, Vincent James, Sou Fujimoto, Johanna Hurme, Sasa Radulovic, Juan Herreros, Natalie de Vries, Glenn Murcutt, and David Chipperfield among others.
